The successful candidate will assist with various tax preparation activities, research, and compliance tasks while gaining hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
2. Conduct research on various tax issues using internal resources and IRS guidelines.
3. Maintain accurate records of client information for filing purposes.
4. Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax regulations by participating in training sessions.
5. Communicate effectively with clients regarding documentation needed for their returns.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
2. Basic understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of taxation is a plus.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) - experience with accounting software is advantageous.
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
