Job summary

Job Overview

Full‑Time Education Coordinator in the Oxford Learning Unionville centre, Markham, Ontario. This in‑person role supports students of all ages in achieving academic success through Oxford Learning programs.

Job Details

In‑person position; resident or within a short commute of Unionville is required. No relocation package is offered. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer assessments and oversee student learning programs.
• Maintain Oxford Learning philosophy throughout the centre.
• Maintain contact with parents and discuss student progress.
• Create a fun and energetic learning environment daily.
• Master Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy and coach other teaching members.
• Liaise with community members, including schools, sports teams, and local businesses.
• Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers.
• Inform inquiring parents about Oxford Learning programs.

Education

• Minimum university degree (credits in Education, Social Sciences, Languages, Math, Science preferred).
• Strong secondary school mathematics skills or good knowledge of high‑school science is an asset.
• Additional languages spoken is an asset.

Experience

• Work in an educational environment with medium to large student bodies.
• Experience in customer service and strong phone skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps).

Job Type & Salary

Full‑time, $20.00‑$23.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
