Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities while supporting children's growth in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification.
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Doctor's Note confirming fitness to work with children.
  • Current TB Test.
  • Copy of Immunization Record.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for early learning and child development.

  • Maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, licensing requirements, health and safety standards, confidentiality policies, and child protection procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, outdoor play, rest periods, and transitions.
