Job summary

UPS Winnipeg is seeking a Full Time Courier Driver (Delivery Driver) based at Winnipeg North Centre, MB. You will complete daily deliveries and pickups, perform vehicle inspections, and navigate routes while providing outstanding customer service.

Job description

UPS is currently looking for a Full Time Courier Driver (Delivery Driver) to work based from our Winnipeg North Centre, located at Unit 8 - 75 Meridian Drive, Winnipeg MB.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (shift hours vary based on operational requirements)

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle daily
• Complete daily delivery and pick-up schedules
• Use road maps and trip planning aids to navigate routes
• Solve dispatch problems on route
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop
• Safely handle packages, occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted
• Follow established UPS procedures and safety policies

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communications skills
• Ability to follow set and standard procedures
• Must possess a valid MB Driver's Licence (Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent)
• Must have a clean driver's abstract
• Able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding delivery environment
