Contrans Vrac in Windsor, ON is hiring a Full Time - Company Driver for Canada/US routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload bulk products, tarp trailers, and operate Peoplenet ELDs while maintaining safe trucking practices.

Requirements include AZ license, CVOR/good Driver's Abstract, and minimum 1 year heavy haul or 3 years over-the-road experience. Cross-border duties and compliance with border procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to climb 12’ in & out of dump trailers, approx 2–4 times daily.
• Must be able to lift 20–25 kg out of trailers, approx 2–4 times daily.
• Minimum 1 year heavy haul experience or 3 years over-the-road experience.
• AZ license is required; CVOR and Driver's Abstract are required.

Responsabilités

• Pre-trip inspections and handling of equipment (e.g., kingpin, 50 lb pull, 10 lb crank).
• Loading and unloading bulk/dump products.
• Tarping trailers on dump units; operate tarp crank with loads.
• Cleaning trailers after unloading; climbing and walking on uneven ground.
• Remove cross bows along trailer top; inspect for stuck doors/bows.
• Drive Canada/US routes; manage shifting transmissions.
• Address malfunctioning equipment or trapped doors/bows safely.
• Maintain knowledge of axle weights and safe vehicle operation.
