This position requires a full-time continuous Educational Assistant (35 hours per week), beginning on August 25, 2025. Under the direction of the Learning Support Teacher, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for students to help meet goals in the student's learning plan, as well as in-class supports for students with Individual Student Plans (ISPs).

Desired Qualifications Include:

• Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings
• Ability to build relationships with students requiring patience and flexibility
• Experience and training working with students with various diagnoses, from Autism to complex needs
• Experience collaborating with a Learning Support Team
• Physically fit to meet the demands of working with students with complex needs
• Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent (asset)
• NVCI and/or SIVA training (asset)
• Ability to support students requiring toileting and personal care
