  • Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and Sioux Lookout district health challenges.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • (a) Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent; preferably post-secondary education
  • (b) First Nations community-based experience is preferred; administrative experience in a health or social service field is an asset
  • (c)Experience working with diverse partners; familiarity with health system in the district
  • (d) Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • (e) Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written
  • (f) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • (g) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and complete work on schedule
  • (h) Proficiency in computer programs such as M/S Word, Excel, and the use of email; ability to learn communications technology and systems software quickly
  • (i) Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, and of the geographical and health care challenges of First Nations in the Sioux Lookout district
  • (j) Dedication to service excellence

This is an existing position.

Salary range $43680.00 - $52,100.00
