We are looking for a Full Time Cafe Chef to join our existing team in our Malahide store.

If you have strong teamwork skills and take pride in doing a great job, and want to work for an exciting and growing company then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role you will need to be fully flexible across 5 days out of 7 and will require to do minimum of 30 hrs per week.

Please do not apply for this role If you are not fullyflexible or cannot leaglly do min of 30 hrs per week!

  • Assisting in the food preparation process
  • Cooking and preparing meals
  • Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
  • Assisting other Chefs
  • Helping with deliveries and restocking
  • Assisting with stock rotation, cleaning stations
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
The ideal candidate will have/be:

Requirements:

  • Level 1 and 2 Food Safety
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
  • Experience of kitchen equipment
  • Competent level of English spoken and written
  • Ability to work under supervision of a limited range
  • Ability to produce good qualityfood
  • Understanding of health and safety
  • Understanding of basic food hygiene practices
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
