The ASRS Mechanic will own the entire process related to the operation and maintenance of the ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) equipment including, but not limited to (racking, cranes, elevators, SVL’s, and all conveying systems). The ASRS Mechanic will also be responsible for addressing any upset conditions, such as stuck or tipped pallets in the racking or on associated equipment, as well as general housekeeping of the area and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks as assigned.
Journeyman Red Seal Millwright certification required.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Millwright is required.
Ability to read, interpret, and update Electrical and Mechanical drawings/schematics is required.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, and procedures to maximize the reliability of the equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to work rotating shifts (12hr shifts rotating nights and days) and overtime when required to support a continuous operation.
Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions with excellent attention to detail while being adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Electrical equipment knowledge - computer hardware and software, proficient in utilizing a variety of computer software and applications.
Ability to work at heights and successful completion of Fall Arrest training.
