Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross® is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team for an 18‑month term, with hybrid work options in Canada. You’ll develop, enhance and maintain customer‑facing website experiences, translating UX designs into accessible, reusable components while collaborating with back‑end developers to integrate APIs and services.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of web development experience, a portfolio demonstrating work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular

Qualifications

Post‑secondary degree or diploma in web development, computer science or a related field.
Three to five years of relevant web‑development experience, supported by a digital portfolio.
Strong hands‑on experience developing customer‑facing website experiences and Design System components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and front‑end frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain customer-facing website experiences and Design System components for the public website ecosystem.
Translate UX designs into reusable, accessible patterns and components.
Build responsive web experiences that work across browsers and devices.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end with APIs and services.
Ensure WCAG accessibility, performance, and SEO fundamentals.
