SAIT’s dynamic Marketing team brings together campaign creators, content strategists, data analysts, recruiters, and UX-driven web team members to deliver cohesive, impactful experiences across every touchpoint - from digital channels to in-person events. We lead the institutional Marketing and Recruitment Plan and power the brand strategy and operate key digital marketing channels.

The Opportunity

This is a 16-month contract covering a parental leave. We’re looking for a seasoned full stack web developer with agency experience—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can quickly turn designs into functional, maintainable code, and is comfortable working across multiple projects with shifting demands.

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining, evolving, and optimizing SAIT’s recruitment-focused web properties. You’ll work in Cascade Server CMS and other critical web environments, evolving SAIT’s main digital products along with translating marketing and UX designs into scalable, high-performing digital experiences.

If you're a self-starter who takes ownership, delivers clean, efficient code, and can hit the ground running, this role is for you.

Preference will be given to candidates with extensive agency experience, a sharp eye for design fidelity, and a proven ability to build modern, visually precise websites that scale to millions of visits annually.

The Role

• Front-End & Full Stack Development
• Quickly transform design mockups into pixel-perfect, fully integrated web pages that function across browsers and devices.
• Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable websites and web applications using HTML, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript, C# Core 6+, Google APIs, XML, JSON, and Git.
• Provide maintainable code that integrates seamlessly into CMS platforms (Cascade Server preferred).
• Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Work within structured development frameworks (Agile, Waterfall) and use version control (Git) effectively.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Apply UX best practices and structured approaches to responsive web design.
• Collaboration & Client Services
• Work closely with designers, UX specialists, and content creators to ensure seamless execution of web projects.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into functional web solutions that meet institutional needs.
• Provide real-time updates to stakeholders and ensure clear communication on development progress.
• Support cross-functional collaboration while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of agency experience, a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end technologies, and a proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Strong background in turning Figma/Adobe XD designs into fail-proof, responsive web pages.
• Experience in enterprise-grade CMS platforms (Cascade Server preferred).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS, C#, cloud environments (Azure, AWS). Automation tools (Jenkins, Gulp.js) are considered nice-to-haves.
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, database management, and website performance optimization.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for staying ahead of web development trends and improving processes.
• Comfortable with fast-moving projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
