Job summary

Government Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications across front-end, back-end, API, database, and mobile environments. The candidate should bring extensive Java experience and strong REST API capabilities to support a secure, scalable product.

Ideal candidates will have Government project experience, familiarity with Azure SQL and Dataverse, and a track record of implementing modern architectures

Job description

Our Government client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in web and mobile application development. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support scalable applications across front-end, back-end, API, database, and mobile environments. Ideal candidate would have previous Government Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications.
• Translate technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Develop responsive front-end applications and integrate them with back-end services.
• Design and manage relational databases and write complex SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and database issues.
• Participate throughout the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams and participate in design reviews.
• Develop reusable, testable, and maintainable application components.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications.
• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Dataverse.
• 5+ years of experience with REST APIs, React, React Native, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, iOS SDK, and platform-specific APIs.
• Experience with React Native native modules and integration with Swift/Objective-C and/or Java/Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web application development and UI design.
• Experience with microservices and modern application architecture.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, SOAP, and API integration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of application security, including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL certificates.
• Experience with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, refactoring, and clean-code practices.
• Experience with Tomcat/WebLogic, EJB, and Servlets.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with blockchain and Solidity smart contract development.
• Knowledge of event-driven, reactive, and message-oriented architectures.
• Experience with middleware and gateway technologies.
