Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions. We are seeking a full stack developer to join the Portfolio Research & Analytics team at TD Asset Management. The team develops sophisticated portfolio management and analytics tools that are used daily in the management and monitoring of billions of dollars in assets.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing these applications, working closely with the Asset Liability Management and Alternative Investment teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop full stack web applications on the Portfolio Analytics platform
  2. Design and build modern user interfaces in React
  3. Implement performant and scalable financial calculations on the back-end
  4. Collaborate directly with the portfolio management teams throughout the project cycle
  5. Translate end-user requirements into technical requirements
  6. Own the web applications you develop, providing support and addressing issues raised by users

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience with JavaScript (React), Python, SQL (PostgreSQL or any major RDBMS)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a double degree in Business/Computer Science
  • Interest in expanding financial knowledge

Additional Qualities We Consider an Asset:

  • Experience with Linux-based environments
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
