Job summary

Mecka AI is seeking a frontend-focused ML infra engineer to own the internal annotation platform and ML services for its CVML team. You will build and maintain a web application used by the labeling team, and deploy practical ML components including PII blurring and model-assisted labeling in a concurrent API environment.

You will work on data pipelines, video processing, and inference optimization, balancing privacy with data utility using fast, user-facing tooling.

Qualifications

• Frontend engineering with modern JS/TS frameworks (React, Vue) and performant browser UX.
• Production-grade Python APIs (FastAPI, gRPC) for high-volume media.
• Applied ML experience with detection/segmentation in real-world data and deploying pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own internal annotation platform and data pipelines to support labeling workflows.
• Develop PII blur service and lightweight ML services
• Optimize inference with PyTorch-based models and wrap in fast APIs for tooling UI
