Job summary

Pacer Group in Toronto is seeking an experienced full stack developer with 5–6 years of hands-on practice across front-end and back-end technologies. The role emphasizes building responsive, scalable web applications, integrating RESTful APIs, and delivering secure, high-quality software within Agile teams.

You'll work with cross‑functional partners including QA, Product and DevOps, apply modern UI/UX principles, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in full stack development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience building responsive and scalable web applications.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and modern UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Proficient with GitHub/Bitbucket and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD.

At least 5–6 years of experience in full stack development

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in front-end and back-end technologies such as:

Back-end: Java, Node.js, Python, or C#

• Experience building responsive and scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern UI/UX design principles
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with databases such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
• Experience with ORM frameworks and data modeling
• Experience with Git-based source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (ability to work with cross‑functional teams including QA, Product, and DevOps)
• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot
