Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a senior Java developer to design, implement, and maintain distributed applications on Linux in Montreal. The role is onsite with 3 days per week in office, and onboarding starts Day 1 onsite.

You will participate in design reviews, support testing, and collaborate across teams to deliver critical functionality using AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Java development experience.
• Experience with distributed, high-availability systems.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
