Job summary

Sarsfield Group is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our AI Internal Systems initiative. You will build and ship AI-powered internal tools from concept to production, bridging business needs with robust technical solutions.

You will collaborate across teams to identify opportunities within People, Finance, Operations, and workflows, and design scalable, reliable systems that improve efficiency and decision-making in a fast-paced startup environment.

Full Stack Engineer, AI Internal Systems

There are over 5 billion people using basic applications such as email, notes, tasks, and calendar today, and these applications are not AI-native. Our Client’s mission is to build proactive applications for anyone in the world, including people who are not used to complex prompting. They aim to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising, and workflows, with minimal to no prompting.

About the Role

Our Client is building AI-powered internal systems to transform how the company operates.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities across areas such as People, Finance, Operations, Recruiting, and business workflows, and building AI solutions that improve efficiency, automate repetitive processes, and enable better decision-making.

What You Will Do

Build AI-powered internal tools and systems from concept to production

Identify opportunities where AI can improve internal workflows and operations

Design and implement intelligent workflows, automations, and integrations

Translate business needs into practical product and technical solutions

Work closely with teams across Our Client to understand problems and deliver impactful solutions

Own end-to-end execution, from idea generation to deployment and iteration

What You Will Need

Experience with backend, full-stack, or platform development

Experience with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI integrations is a plus

Strong ownership mindset and ability to solve ambiguous problems

Experience building and shipping production software, AI applications, or automation systems

Strong technical foundation and problem-solving ability

How Our Client Works

Our Client operates as a small, senior, hands-on team. Engineers own features end-to-end, from design discussion through production monitoring.

Code reviews and design reviews are expected for all meaningful changes. The team discusses architecture openly, makes decisions quickly, and ships frequently.

Interview Process

If there appears to be a fit, candidates will be invited to 3, but no more than 4, interviews.
