Job summary

Hasbro, Inc. in Montreal, QC, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help build our AI Character Platform within the AI Studio.

You will own large portions of the system end to end—from tooling that configures character behavior to the API surface used by partners. The role requires 3+ years in full-stack development with backend emphasis, strong React frontend skills, Node.js/Python, REST APIs, and solid AWS fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack engineering with backend focus.
• Proficient with frontend frameworks (React or equivalent).
• Experience building, versioning, and maintaining production REST APIs.
• Solid AWS fundamentals — Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs in production.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features for our AI character platform, including the admin tooling and API layer for partners.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve production REST APIs used by external integrations.
• Integrate with third‑party AI and media services, including LLMs, voice services, and real-time delivery.
• Contribute to AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and environment management.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Principal AI Engineer on architecture and technical planning.
• Support observability, on-call practices, and platform reliability at scale.
