Job summary

Ztek Consulting, Inc. in Montreal, Canada is seeking a full stack developer for an immediate opening. The role is client-facing with regular interactions with client managers, and requires a hands-on approach across frontend and backend.

You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring, and modern frontend technologies; deploy to Tomcat environments; and collaborate with analysts, QA, and other developers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and DevOps deployments.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Day to Day Job Duties:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of Backend Development experience with Java, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, DevOps deployments, including executing commands and navigating the shell (Mandatory).
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
