Mission is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to own end-to-end feature development for an AI-driven risk intelligence platform. You will scale backend services, create data-rich risk dashboards, and integrate ML/NLP capabilities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development in production.
• Proficiency in backend and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with SaaS applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong DB design with SQL and NoSQL.
• Ability to deliver high-quality code in an agile setting.
• Proficient in Python and building web scraping systems (Scrapy/BeautifulSoup/Playwright/Selenium).
• AWS experience including compute, storage, networking, IAM and monitoring.

About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in building and scaling an AI-driven risk intelligence platform. You will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, combining robust backend systems and data processing with intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. Working across the product, you will tackle complex technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and the integration of AI-powered capabilities into production. What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development within a production environment.
• Professional proficiency in backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable SaaS applications and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality code in an agile, collaborative setting.
• Strong Python skills and experience running web scraping systems in production, using tools such as Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including compute, storage, databases, networking, access management, and monitoring.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in RegTech, FinTech, or AI-focused startups.
• Knowledge of NLP, web crawling, or big data processing.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
• Annual salary between $120,000 and $150,000 CAD (or local market equivalent).
• Flexible hybrid in Montreal or remote work options.
• Working hours compatible with Eastern Time (ET).
