Job summary

Knak in Toronto, Canada, seeks an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to build and maintain systems that turn Knak content into email and landing page HTML. This role spans the builder interface, shared content model, rendering pipeline, and backend exports.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, well-tested features. You will help shape implementation-level design decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and improve quality and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Vue (preferred).
• Proven ability to write clean, modular, testable code with long-term maintainability.
• Experience with Playwright, Jest, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance considerations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, responsive builder interfaces using Vue 3 and TypeScript, collaborating with designers and PMs.
• Implement and maintain the shared TypeScript content model and rendering logic for email/landing page HTML.
• Contribute to content architecture and rendering pipeline, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Maintain tooling, scaffolding, patterns, and guardrails for Knak content architecture.
• Support platform-specific exports by contributing to the Laravel transformer pipeline and tests.
• Investigate rendering, performance, and correctness issues using profiling and observability tools.
