Job summary

Corning Technology Center Montreal (CTCM) is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join a cross-functional, agile team. You will build and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python, contributing across the software lifecycle.

You will collaborate on system design, ensure code quality through reviews and tests, and help drive architectural decisions while working in a startup-like environment within a large global company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing web interfaces using React or similar technology.
• 3+ years of experience developing APIs (e.g. REST).
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth, OIDC).

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a talented developer to join our team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle as part of an agile, cross-functional team.

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role
• Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience developing web interfaces using React or similar technology
• 3+ years of experience developing APIs (e.g. REST)
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth, OIDC)

Desired:

• Experience with python frameworks such as FastAPI
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience in system design and architecture
• Experience with development and collaboration tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience working in an agile development environment

WORK LOCATION

Remote within Canada. Candidates must be based in Canada and able to attend occasional in-person meetings at our Montreal, QC office.
