Title: Full Stack Developer (React + Next.js)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build a modern, secure, and scalable web application deployed on cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful features contributing directly to the product's success.

You will be part of the Technology team in Global Wealth Engineering, leading the development of generative AI products for asset managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and technical requirements, managing tasks via Jira with clear acceptance criteria.
2. Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts.
3. Develop both frontend (React + Material UI) and backend-for-frontend (Next.js) components of the web application.
4. Participate in team planning, sprint reviews, and roadmap discussions.
5. Understand the development and deployment processes within the bank’s cloud infrastructure and governance environment.
6. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code adhering to security and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
2. Proficiency in HTML and CSS for web development.
3. Experience with modern web stacks, especially React, Material UI, and Next.js.
4. Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
5. Experience with SQL query optimization.
6. Familiarity with cloud deployment (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable).
7. Ability to create and iterate wireframes and prototypes in Figma.
8. Experience with REST APIs; GraphQL is a bonus.
9. Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, including unit and integration testing.
10. Understanding of code quality practices, linting, code reviews, and automated formatting.
11. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira for issue tracking.
