Job summary

You will design, implement, and operate high-scale APIs and front-end apps using Angular and Java, contributing to banking technology initiatives. The role requires 8+ years of experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL APIs, Kafka, and cloud/container platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience building web applications and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and developing full-stack solutions (MEAN or similar stacks).
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with message-based systems (Kafka) and in-memory stores (Redis).
• Relational databases (Postgres/SQL) and schema design.
• Containerizing apps and cloud platforms/PaaS (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with API specifications and tooling (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, OIDC) and certificate management.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release management.
• Hands-on experience with AI models or integrating ML/AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team building modern, customer-facing web applications and resilient backend services. You will work with all stakeholders to design best-in-class technology solutions. You’ll design, implement, and operate high-scale APIs and front-end applications using Angular and Java, helping shape the future of banking technology.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain client-facing Angular applications and backend services (Java Spring Boot, Node.js) across the full development lifecycle.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and integrations with messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Write high quality, tested code with automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests; champion test automation and CI/CD.
• Collaborate within an Agile product team (product owners, UX, QA, engineers) to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Automate development pipelines and operational runbooks to reduce time-to-market and improve reliability.
• Ensure performance, scalability and resiliency of services (caching with Redis, load balancing, service discovery, fault tolerance).
• Apply security best practices (JWT, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS/SSL) and adhere to secure coding standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Familiarity with API specifications and tooling (OpenAPI/Swagger); experience troubleshooting and testing APIs.
• Practical experience with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2.0, JWT, OIDC) and certificate management.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release management.
• Hands-on experience using AI models or integrating ML/AI capabilities into applications.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.

Nice-to-Have

• End-to-end UI automation testing (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
• Experience with reactive, event-driven, or message-oriented architectures.
• UX sensibility and experience collaborating closely with design teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS monitoring and analytics tools (Dynatrace, Google Analytics, Firebase, LaunchDarkly, WalkMe).
