Job summary

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer with Banking domain experience to join our Toronto-based project. The role focuses on building robust web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with strong REST API and microservices expertise. Onsite 4 days a week in Toronto, contract role.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript, SQL, and relational databases, and have hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD. Banking knowledge is highly valued for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications using Java/Spring Boot and Angular.
• Strong hands-on with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases; writing efficient queries.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; familiar with secure coding practices.
• Banking/financial services domain experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, TypeScri.
• Strong experience with Java / J2EE.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Banking Domain – Must Have

• Previous experience working in the Banking / Financial Services domain.
• Experience with banking applications such as Payments, Deposits, Loans, Cards, Core Banking, or Digital Banking is preferred.
• Understanding of banking processes, transactions, and financial systems.
• Candidates with strong banking domain experience will be preferred.pt, HTML, and CSS.
• Work with databases and write SQL queries.
• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other development teams.
• Follow secure coding and software development best practices.
