Full-stack Developer- Cloud Platform (Autodesk Forge)

Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Software Developer to join the Autodesk Platform Services Data Models Team. The team develops high-scale, exabyte-level cloud data platform components supporting desktop, mobile, and web products. This role offers a hybrid work model based in Montreal or Toronto, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of software development to create reliable, secure, high-performance cloud services.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into incremental product improvements.
• Contribute to software design using cloud design patterns and integrate cloud expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Enhance team processes and deliverables for better responsiveness to customer needs.
• Document and present ideas and solutions thoroughly.
• Engage in experimentation, learning, and growth using the latest cloud technologies.
• Deliver code used by millions and mentor others, while also being mentored.
• Make key technical decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in software design/development, especially in cloud systems or web services.
• Strong Java programming skills and experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and cloud providers like AWS.
• API development experience (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Additional skills in Go or TypeScript are a plus.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, continuous refactoring, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience with cloud-scale databases and building scalable cloud services.
