Vibehackers in Montreal is seeking a Full Stack Developer — AI & Automation to design, prototype, build, and operate internal AI-powered tools. You will own the full lifecycle from identifying workflow frictions to delivering production-ready apps that connect to studio systems.
You will work with generative and agentic AI to accelerate prototyping, automate tasks, and improve processes. Hybrid work mode with strong emphasis on delivery and usability.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, interaction design, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing and developing applications, tools, or digital products.
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to balance experimentation with production reliability, including error handling and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Identify needs, prototype rapidly, deliver end-to-end solutions, and monitor production.
- Design internal tools with clear interfaces focused on real user needs.
- Develop complete applications (UI, business logic, data) and integrate them with existing studio systems.

Develop and deploy internal AI-driven tools and automation to streamline studio workflows. Act as an augmented full-stack engineer using generative and agentic AI to prototype, deliver, and maintain production-ready internal applications that connect to existing systems and data.
As a Full Stack Developer — AI & Automation Solutions, you will design, prototype, build, and operate internal tools driven by generative and agentic AI. You will own the full development lifecycle from identifying workflow frictions to delivering production-ready tools, training users, and iterating based on feedback.
- Manage full development lifecycle: identify needs, prototype rapidly, deliver end-to-end solutions, and follow up in production.
- Design internal tools with clear, efficient interfaces focused on real user needs.
- Develop complete applications (UI, business logic, data) and integrate them with existing studio systems and pipelines.
- Leverage AI-assisted development, code generation, and autonomous agents to accelerate prototyping and automation.
- Design specialized AI agents to automate tasks, critique ideas, and detect issues.
- Automate repetitive workflows to free up time for high-value creative work.
- Support rollout, train users, gather feedback, and determine product maturity and appropriate deployment timing.
- Contribute to shared platforms and building blocks to accelerate other teams.
You will join the Tooling pole, a cross-disciplinary team focused on creating custom solutions that simplify daily work across departments. The role balances creative experimentation with operational rigor to ensure reliable production tools.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, interaction design, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing and developing applications, tools, or digital products.
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to balance experimentation with production reliability, including error handling and maintainability.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, REST APIs, relational databases, and vector databases.
- Expertise in AI-assisted development and rapid prototyping (referred to as Vibe Coding and Engineering).
- Experience with generative and agentic AI and various LLMs and related tools.
- Familiarity with AI/code assistants and tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cowork, Artifacts, GitHub Copilot, LiteLLM, OpenRouter, Gemini CLI).
- Knowledge of orchestration and integration tools such as n8n, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and MCP.
- Knowledge of hosting platforms including Proxmox, Azure, AKS, and GCP.
- Autonomy and ability to work amid ambiguity and drive ideas to delivery.
- Builder’s mindset: prefer shipping functional tools over proofs of concept and documenting work thoroughly.
- Curiosity about new AI tools and building approaches.
