Job summary

MaintainX, a leading mobile-first work execution platform now part of Autodesk, seeks experienced full-stack developers to join our product and platform teams. You will ship features end to end, partner with Product Managers and Designers, and own a feature area or system’s long-term health while mentoring teammates.

Our core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL (some teams use C# or Python). We offer remote-friendly roles with offices in Montreal and Toronto, a 5–10 person team,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products.
• Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development.
• A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you're comfortable handing off to someone else.
• Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a technical tradeoff to a designer or a support lead as easily as to another developer.
• Comfort making progress on a problem before the spec is fully settled, adjusting as you learn more.
• Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow, not just occasional experimentation.
• Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience.

More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

The Role

This is our single hiring pipeline for Full-Stack Developers across our product and platform teams. On the product side, that could mean Asset Lifecycle, Global Feature, Reporting, Preventive Maintenance, or Planner: the systems behind work orders, assets, and scheduling that customers touch daily. On the platform side, it could mean Backend Framework, Search or API Platform: the shared services and infrastructure the product teams build on.

Whichever team you join, you will:

• Ship features end to end, from planning through production.

Our core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL. Some teams use C# or Python. You don't need to already know every piece of it to apply. You'll land on a team of 5 to 10 people and take on-call rotation as part of the role. Within your first 6 months, you'll own a feature area or system outright.

Where We Work

We don't have a minimum in-office mandate, but we prefer our teams to be located around our office hubs. In Canada this includes: Montreal and Toronto.

If you have a strong preference going in, tell your recruiter early so we can route your interviews accordingly.
