Job summary

Sproutlogic Consulting in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Software Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of product development, delivering well-designed, efficient, and testable code that meets specifications and quality standards.

You will develop new capabilities and re-architect parts of an existing system, participate in test-driven, iterative development, and design server-side Java with robust APIs (REST, SOAP) while integrating MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience developing server-side web applications in Java.
• Experience developing Java Web Services with public API (e.g. REST, SOAP).
• Experience with relational (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
• Proficient in object-oriented development.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience Front end technologies like Angular, React.
