Overview

Full Stack Developer – Trauma-Informed Solutions at VESTA Social Innovation Technologies. We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who will lead technical development, contribute to product strategy, and help shape the architecture of trauma-informed solutions that prioritize survivor safety, privacy, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain reliable and scalable full-stack software solutions with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and usability.
• Collaborate with the VESTA team and the fractional development team to integrate solutions that are user-focused and culturally sensitive.
• Monitor, test, and optimize application performance and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve full-stack issues as they arise.
• Continuously enhance the platform’s functionality to meet evolving user and project needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React JS and back-end frameworks like Node.js or Express.
• Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, MariaDB or similar.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI / CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of web security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
• Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design.
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, hands-on approach to teamwork.
• Self-direction, emotional intelligence, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Passion for technology for social impact and commitment to inclusive, ethical product development.
