Job summary

Alithya Canada Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and enhance complex application solutions in a collaborative setting in Montreal.

You’ll translate business needs into IT solutions, work with analysts and clients, and contribute to deployment and QA processes. The ideal candidate holds a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science and brings at least four years of relevant experience, with advanced French and proficient English.

Qualifications

• Diploma of college studies (DCS) or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• French: Advanced; English proficiency required for communication with non‑Quebec teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex application solutions;
• Participate in meetings with analysts and clients, then translate business needs into IT solutions;
• Estimate and communicate the work to be done to the delivery manager;
• Write functional and organic analyses;
• Define test plans;
• Participate in writing production deployment instructions;
• Assist the quality assurance team during testing and keep documentation up to date;
• Perform proactive monitoring of applications to propose improvements;
• Document the knowledge base of development tools and environments;
• Participate in the training and development of less experienced programmer analysts.
