We’re seeking full-stack developers with strong business analysis skills to join our Liquid Decisions consulting team. You’ll work directly with clients to configure, develop, and deploy solutions — building front-ends, reporting tools, and advanced analytics workflows on our DuckDB-based platform.

You’ll need to be an expert user of GPTs for software engineering, applying them across the entire development lifecycle — from requirements gathering to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role: you’ll be the technical problem solver in the room, translating business goals into robust, testable, scalable solutions — while maintaining top-tier professional standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, clarify goals, and define success metrics.
  • Configure and customize Liquid Decisions solutions for specific business needs.
  • Using our platform technologies, we design and deliver full-stack features — frontend UI, backend services, and database logic.
  • Build and integrate reporting tools and visual analytics.
  • Develop SQL-based workflows in DuckDB, including ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
  • Apply rigorous testing practices to ensure correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to optimize workflows, data structures, and application performance.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Consultant mindset — professional, self-motivated, comfortable in client-facing engagements.
  • Excellent English — spoken, written, and thinking in English with technical clarity.
  • Expert GPT usage — proven ability to leverage GPTs for architecture, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and testing ability.
  • Computer Science degree (or equivalent experience) with strong coding skills in at least two languages, including Python.
  • Intermediate PostgreSQL skills and familiarity with relational + columnar systems.
  • Proven frontend development skills in modern frameworks (Svelte, React, or similar).
  • SQL proficiency (DuckDB and Postgres preferred).
  • Experience with data pipelines (REST/WebSocket APIs, Streams, Queues).
  • Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud-native environments.
  • DevOps & CI/CD — comfortable setting up build pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Infrastructure self-sufficiency — able to provision, configure, and maintain local and cloud environments without hand-holding.
  • Security and access control — understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure coding practices.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Kubernetes or containerized deployments.
  • Experience with data lakes, analytic DAGs, or columnar databases.
  • Familiarity with Svelte or other modern frontend frameworks.
What We Offer
  • High-impact consulting experience on cutting-edge SQL-native platforms.
  • Direct influence on high-performance, auditable, versioned data systems.
  • Work alongside senior DuckDB engineers and platform architects.
  • Continuous learning from experts in data engineering, full-stack development, and AI-assisted software delivery.
