Job summary

Covenant House Vancouver is seeking a Recruiter to provide end-to-end recruiting support and engage top talent for vacancies and new roles. You will collaborate with hiring managers, manage candidate communications, and ensure a positive candidate journey while upholding our values and diversity commitments.

The role requires working knowledge of HRIS, Microsoft Office, and strong interpersonal skills. A diploma or degree in HR is preferred, with at least two years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources preferred.
• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in full cycle recruiting.
• Knowledge of HR/Recruiting best practices.
• Skill in using an HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Interpersonal and relationship management at all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Alignment with Covenant House Vancouver’s values and principles.
• Proactive problem solving and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Execute Talent Acquisition strategies and plans.
• Provide full cycle recruiting support to managers.
• Post vacancies, pre-screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.
• Conduct reference checks.
• Participate in the selection process when requested.
• Provide a consistent candidate experience with professional communication.
• Manage HRIS updates and paperwork for hires, promotions, transfers.
• Build diverse candidate pipelines through outreach.
