C&P Partners CPA is a boutique accounting firm serving entrepreneurs, privately held businesses, and individuals across the GTA. We seek a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant with at least two years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.

This role focuses on full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients. You will be organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple files in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• At least two years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, ideally within a CPA or public accounting firm.
• Knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping and standard accounting processes.
• GST/HST and basic tax support exposure (T1/T2 preferred).
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
• Experience with tax software (TaxPrep, Profile) is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple clients and record day-to-day transactions (AP, AR, payroll, expenses).
• Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, intercompany accounts).
• Prepare and post journal entries and working papers; assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules; identify discrepancies.
• Support accountants with year-end file preparation.
• Communicate with clients to collect data and documentation; maintain confidential records.
