Reporting to the Equipment & Repair Manager, the Fuel Truck Operator is responsible for transporting fuel by road in a timely and safe manner, site fueling and maintenance to specialized construction equipment.

How You’ll Add Value
  • Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Deliver on-site fueling and perform maintenance checks on construction equipment
  • Maintain fuel consumption logs and hazard assessment forms
  • Conduct pre and post shift inspections
  • Attend daily hazard assessments and worksite inspections
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

What You Bring
  • 1+ years of experience as a Fuel Truck Driver
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • Valid Class 3Q Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with oil types and uses
  • Understand computerized controls and electronics
  • Be physically capable of lifting 40 lbs regularly
  • Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed
