Job summary
WestJet is seeking an Advisor, Fuel to help secure a cost-effective, compliant fuel supply across our network. You will collaborate with Finance, Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Airport Operations, Network Planning, and IT to support decisions and manage supply risks.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Strategic Procurement, Environment & Fuel, the role covers strategic sourcing, supplier management, market analysis, and operational support with a focus on continuous improvement and SAF
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Aviation, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, aviation, energy, or a related industry.
- Experience managing suppliers, contracts, and commercial relationships.
- Experience working in regulated and operationally complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Support fuel sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and consortium participation.
- Monitor fuel markets, supplier capabilities, and industry trends.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, and regular reviews.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and recommendations for stakeholders.
