Job summary

Executive Aviation is seeking a Fuel Manager in Sudbury (YSB) to lead the fuel team, oversee testing, ordering, and safety at the fuel site, and manage daily operations. The role reports to the FBO Area Manager and requires a proactive leader with strong communication skills.

Ideal candidates have airport fueling experience, leadership experience, and knowledge of fuel acceptance and safety. This position emphasizes safety, audits readiness, and reliable operational performance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of airport, fueling, or airline experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience coaching and motivating a team.
• DZ license or pursuing license is an asset.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Holder of valid RAIC (Restricted Area Identification Card).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge or experience with fuel acceptance and quality control is an asset.
• Proven above-and-beyond customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all fuel equipment is operational and ready for use.
• Back up line crew throughout the day with their duties.
• Accept tank farm fuel loads.
• Complete monthly checks on mobile refuelers and tank farm.
• Review all employee training for Executive Aviation.
• Water cart sanitization.
• Lead fuel safety components; perform safety checks, drills, and update emergency plan.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
• Update Executive Aviation Emergency Response Plan.
• Prepare for World Fuels audits and for airline/IATA fuel audits.
• Perform other duties as required.

We’re looking for someone to lead a team of fuelers, ensure all the fuel testing, ordering, and safety for the fuel site is completed accurately, as well as manage the schedule and day-to-day responsibilities. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and a determination to succeed. This position will be reporting to the FBO Area Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all fuel equipment is operational and ready for use
• Back up line crew throughout the day with their duties
• Accept tank farm fuel loads

• Champion all fuel safety components; including, safety checks on all equipment, leadingall safety drills, and updating the emergency response plan

• Prepare for World Fuels audits
• Prepare for Airline and IATA fuel audits
• Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications
