Job summary

Sureway Construction Group Ltd. is seeking a Fuel & Lube Technician (Lube Driver - Class 3) in the Edmonton area.

This full-time, seasonal role involves daily servicing of machinery, fueling, checking fluid levels, tires and filters, and performing in-field lube oil services. Candidates must have at least one year of fuel & lube experience, a valid Class 3Q driver's license with a clean abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a fuel & lube technician.

Responsibilities

• Daily servicing of all machinery including fueling, fluid levels, tire pressure, components, and filters.
• Perform lube oil filter services in the field.
• Promote and adhere to the company safety program and culture.

Fuel & Lube Technician (Lube Driver - Class 3)
Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

Job Type

Full-Time, Seasonal

Schedule

10+ Hours/day, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Essential

Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
• Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Class 3Q Driver’s License

Pre-employment

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based or urine test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

• Daily servicing of all machinery including fueling, fluid levels, tire pressure, components, and filters
• Perform lube oil filter services in the field
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
