Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks a skilled Fuel and Lube Technician to support site operations on a large-scale civil earthworks project in Northern Saskatchewan. The role focuses on safe service of heavy equipment, inspections, maintenance coordination, and accurate documentation, within a fast-paced construction environment.

You will be part of a high-performing team under local conditions, operating from a remote project site with camp accommodations and travel arrangements provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types.
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory 3-year driver's abstract required.
• Class 3 driver's license is an asset.
• Transport of Dangerous Goods ticket.
• CSTS-2020 Fundamentals ticket.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed.
• Conduct pre-trip and walk-around inspections and complete daily FLHAs.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, identify maintenance requirements, and coordinate repairs as required.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
• Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
• Conduct pre-trip and walk-around inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs)
• Perform routine equipment inspections, identify maintenance requirements, and coordinate repairs as required
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
• Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment
• Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory 3-year driver's abstract required
• Class 3 driver's license is an asset
• Transport of Dangerous Goods ticket
• CSTS-2020 Fundamentals ticket

Work Conditions

14 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule
