Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest-growing rental business in Canada– is seeking a Fuel and Lube Technician.

This Fuel and Lube Technician role travels to customer job sites to refuel and perform light preventative maintenance on our extensive fleet. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas-related equipment. This role will also be working in the shop when there are no field calls. Our double-digit growth and internal promotion rate mean we are constantly looking to add top performers to our team.

This is role is for local applicants only and will work a 7 on / 7 off shift.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1 to 3 years of refueling and/or mechanical experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, experience transporting fuel and other dangerous goods is preferred

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Develop new skills for a career track in service of operation management

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range

32.60 - 44.82
