Neighbourly Pharmacy is hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our amazing teams in Central Alberta. This is a full-time non-dispensing role which involves working at multiple locations throughoutCentral Alberta, including: Sundre, Blackfalds, Innisfail, Olds, and Didsbury, AB. Mileage is reimbursed.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

We are looking for an ambitious Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for different functions through collaborative drug therapy management and for providing outstanding patient care for patients throughout the Neighbourly family of stores, in a non-dispensing capacity.

  • Review records of patients to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy
  • Identify untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physicians
  • Advise on the correct administration of drugs
  • Assess the results of pharmaceutical treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Keep accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress
  • Work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and calmly, using excellent time management and organizational skills

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Repetitive tasks, Fast-paced environment, Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines
