Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure department associates are properly trained by certified trainers.
  2. Maintain effective communication within the department, store, and organization through the Cash Office/Front End Communication Board and Task Management.
  3. Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food safety standards.
  4. Follow all company policies and safety standards.
  5. Report equipment repairs or maintenance needs; keep work areas safe and clean.
  6. Handle all sales transactions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  7. Supervise the operation of the office/service desk/kiosk/front end/bottle room, including cleanliness, customer service, and transaction accuracy.
  8. Secure cash drawers when unattended; protect company assets.
  9. Understand labor, productivity reports, scheduling, and ordering.
  10. Follow standard practices for efficient front-end operations.
  11. Assist in performance appraisals and service observations.
  12. Maintain a professional appearance and follow personal appearance policies.
  13. Perform cashier, bagging, service desk/kiosk, and bookkeeper functions as needed.
  14. Support special projects and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Understanding of store operations and merchandising preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and selling skills.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills; leadership ability.
  • Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum age requirements must be met.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to use computers and communication systems.
  • Perform repetitive motions, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and produce.
  • Stand continuously, with occasional walking.
  • Use hands for handling currency and operating equipment.
  • Meet activity volume standards; visual acuity for ID checks and documentation.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Promote high customer service standards and foster a positive environment.
  • Manage front-end operations, schedules, and training effectively.
  • Supervise front-end staff performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering regulations.

Salary range: $18.95 - $27.25 per hour.
