Beem Credit Union in British Columbia is seeking an Everyday Banking Associate for our new Chilliwack branch. You will deliver everyday cash services, provide goal-based financial guidance, and support digital onboarding for a busy, customer-centric environment.

The role blends teller duties with advisory conversations, helping members with deposits, withdrawals, and digital tools while delivering exceptional in-branch service aligned with Beem’s People First and Digital First values.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in customer service, cash handling, or financial services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary in business/finance is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day banking needs for members with personalized advisory.
• Lead all cash-related activities including deposits, withdrawals, FX, cheque certification, and teller transactions.
• Maintain strict adherence to cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate balancing and proactive fraud detection.
• Support branch opening/closing activities and dual-control cash operations.
• Act as the branch’s primary resource for complex cash-related inquiries.
