About the Team

The Prism Analytics team is revolutionizing analytics for Workday customers. We are responsible for building engaging, high performance user interfaces to model, analyze, and visualize massive datasets. The features we define, design, and develop empower users to gain new insights on their most critical data.

About the Role

In this role, you will join the top-caliber team that is revolutionizing analytics for Workday customers. You will work together with other leads and implement next-generation visual experiences at Workday. You will partner with people across Product, UX, and Engineering teams and work collaboratively to deliver complex, large-scale projects. As part of the team, you'll be solving technical problems around web application performance, scalability, and security.

About You

We're open to hiring a Career- or Senior-level engineer for this position:

• 4+ years of frontend development (JavaScript/Typescript) experience
• 2+ years writing unit and/or integration tests
• 1+ year with version control systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Senior candidates should have:

• 7+ years of frontend development (JavaScript/Typescript) experience
• 3+ years designing and maintaining systems with clean architecture
• 1+ year using React

Other Qualifications

• You enjoy developing substantial UI features, pushing JavaScript and the web browser beyond what others have already done.
• You have a reputation for being a skilled programmer and also have a passion for the way the pixels look on the page.
• You previously worked in large React codebases and know how to keep the code modular and loosely coupled.
• You have a track record of driving projects to completion, overcoming roadblocks with optimism and creativity.
• You are able to juggle priorities and make the right tradeoffs in terms of scope vs. time, ensuring customer success and technology leadership for the company.
• You enjoy being part of a collaborative Agile team that is focused on building a product that will delight customers.
