Job summary

Orthoplex Solutions Corp. in Toronto is seeking two Front-End Developers to build new features for existing apps and drive new development initiatives.

You will work in an Agile team, write clean, maintainable code, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software. Candidates should have a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent), 4+ years of frontend experience, strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and experience with React, Vue, or Angular.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of frontend development experience
• Expert knowledge in frontend development and building single-page apps with modern JS framework (React, Vue, Angular) including HTML5, JSON, CSS3
• Strong OO design and development in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience in Agile teams, pair programming, TDD, CI and code reviews
• Desirable: AWS, DigitalOcean, Firebase, Docker, CI/CD tools, IaC, serverless architectures

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for existing applications and init new projects
• Collaborate with mobile lead to implement features
• Work in an Agile team and contribute to design/estimation meetings
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform product testing
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
• Demonstrate new functionality to stakeholders when required
