Job description

One of our government clients is seeking Front End Designer(s) to support service innovation, program review, and digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with the 3D team.

The Front End Designer(s) will be embedded in cross-functional product delivery or program review teams, working closely with product owners and 3D. These teams engage in a full range of activities, including field research, backlog definition and refinement, sprint planning, and execution. The goal of these projects is to assess existing services, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver modern, efficient, and user-centered public services.

Must Have:

• Experience as a Front End Designer designing and enhancing services via web and other channels
• Experience developing UX artifacts, including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, wireframes, flows and interactive prototypes.
• Experience working within a cross-functional product team in an Agile environment

Nice to Have

• Experience building and maintaining component libraries/design systems.
• Experience exploring multiple design solutions to a given problem or feature, and communicating those solutions visually through sketches, user flows, wireframes, functional prototypes, and/or high-fidelity designs, as necessary.
• Experience in production design for multiple digital devices (web, mobile, etc.) or complex enterprise applications.
• Experience using accessibility standards and principles including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Experience with current methodologies and design thinking, especially in relation to improving service experience.
• Experience with frontend design applications such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.
• Experience working as a Front End Designer on a project comparable in size and complexity to the service innovation, program review, and/or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working in a dedicated public sector central digital office
