Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY: Managing customer service functions, including cash handling, cashier supervision, and merchandising.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
HUMAN RESOURCES:
  • Ensure cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures.
  • Train cashiers/merchandisers in their job functions.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and instruction.
LOSS PREVENTION:
  • Implement loss prevention standards, manage daily cash office inventory, cashier tracking, tracking sheets, and PC Optimum procedures.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
  • Ensure store employees present a proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy.
  • Answer inquiries regarding product locations, rainchecks, etc.
  • Resolve customer issues according to established guidelines (refunds, exchanges, etc.).
  • Promote the CSI Survey.
MERCHANDISING:
  • Ensure shelves are clean and organized with proper rotation.
  • Set up and take down product displays as directed by the AFSM/FSM.
GENERAL:
  • Maintain standards of housekeeping and store image.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
  • Perform clerical and banking duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
  • Follow loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties, including cashier responsibilities when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Independent thinking related to organizing the store.
  • Problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Computer literacy.
  • Organization skills.
  • Efficient time management.
  • Knowledge of products and supplies.
