Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Front Store Manager to join our Estevan, SK location at Pharmasave #427 Estevan.

Job Description:

The Front Store Manager is responsible for managing the entire front store operations. This includes handling customer transactions, staff scheduling and training, product merchandising, inventory management, assisting with month-end billing and reporting, and other duties as required.

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Store hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 7:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 6:00, Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00.
  • Typical shifts: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00.

Objective: To oversee the front store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional image, supervising staff, and ensuring profitable store performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to achieve store goals.
  • Participate in self-development activities.
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
  • Promote the Neighbourly Pharmacy brand through various channels.
  • Follow and promote company policies to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure staff compliance with policies and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage returns, complaints, store security, and employee discounts.
  • Handle cash, daily reports, banking, and deposits.
  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures, security, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional store environment.
  • Build good relationships within the community.

Front Store Personnel Management:

  • Manage and train front store staff.
  • Coordinate work schedules.
  • Hire, discipline, and terminate staff in coordination with HR.
  • Ensure professional and courteous customer interactions.

Inventory and Purchasing:

  • Maintain inventory control and adhere to budgets.
  • Assist with budgeting, buying, and pricing to maximize margins.
  • Set promotional objectives and manage stock ordering.
  • Monitor competition and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders.
  • Control shrinkage and ensure proper pricing and receiving procedures.
  • Manage inventory reporting and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with sales reps and ensure proper pricing and stock levels.

Merchandising:

  • Maintain planograms and product displays.
  • Ensure stock replenishment and proper signage.

Corporate Liaison:

  • Operate within company guidelines and objectives.
  • Participate in budget setting and policy development.
  • Maintain accurate records and timely communication with headquarters.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Retail management experience.
  • Team management and training skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years retail management preferred.
