Royal Drug Mart in Melville, Saskatchewan is seeking a part-time Front Store Clerk/Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will provide friendly customer service, operate the cash register, assist with stock and merchandising, and perform local deliveries as required.

The role offers flexibility with shifts during weekdays and weekends, with 24–30 hours per week. A valid provincial driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift items are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Accurate cash handling and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, courteous communication and strong product knowledge.
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or cashiering is an asset.
• Mature, cooperative attitude with a professional appearance and name tag.
• Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver’s licence with a safe driving record (3 years).
• Driver’s abstract (dated within 30 days) required.
• Maintain safety and integrity of the company vehicle.
• Trustworthy and dependable with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to follow procedures and lift/move large packages.
• Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service; handle inquiries courteously.
• Operate cash register, stock shelves, tidy aisles, and assist front-store tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and displays; follow security policies.
• Support inventory and reordering processes; report issues.
• Assist in deliveries and courier documentation; ensure signing of slips.
• Handle difficult customer situations with tact and escalate when needed.
• Perform general duties as assigned by Front Store Manager or Pharmacy Manager.
