Job Description

Under the supervision of the Manager, Front Office, this position handles guest check-in and check-out, payments, and message/document management, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all team members. Ensures policy adherence, motivates and leads by example, and supports a learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, book rooms, and enter details in Opera/Fidelio
  • Make restaurant reservations and provide resort information
  • Handle reservations during busy periods
  • Manage guest messages via telephone and fax
  • Arrange travel and handle cashier duties including currency exchange
  • Coordinate special services like laundry and room service
  • Report issues to maintenance or housekeeping
  • Prepare guest bills, explain charges, and process payments
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Build relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or relevant post-secondary education/experience
  • At least 2 years front office experience
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
Work Environment

Typical hotel and back-office environment, with standing for long periods.
